Die gebürtige Argentinierin Julieta Frias war die Botin der Lyrischen Werke von Horacio Ferrer.

Ihre dunkle, schwere und tiefe Stimme sprühte Piazzolas Tangoklänge wie die Gischt des Ozeans ins Publikum.

Sie machte die Ströme der Flüchtlinge und Auswanderer spürbar, Heimweh, Sehnsucht und Liebe erfüllten die großartigen Melodien.
