Julieta Anahi Frias debuted on the international stage as a Tango singer starring in the lead role of Maria in Astor Piazzola's "Maria de Buenos Aires". For the UK festival tour she received critical acclaim. And during this time also performed live for the BBC London radio program "In Tune".

Julieta Anahi Frias was born in Buenos Aires Argentina. At the age of six she began her training in classical ballet at the Escuela Nacional de Danzas "Maria Ruanova". After graduating she continued on to the "Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colon".

Later she would work at the world renowned opera "Teatro Colon" as a ballerina starring in several operas and ballets.

Her repertoire includes classics like Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Giselle, Romeo & Juliet, Eugene Onegin and La Sylphide. During her work at the Teatro Colon Julieta received a scholarship to continue her career in New York at the Ballet Hispanico and the Jennifer Muller Dance Company.

After two years in New York Julieta set out for Germany and continued to work as a classical dancer in several theaters like Pfalztheater Kaiserslauten, Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden and Stadttheater Görlitz.

Alongside her classical work Julieta also worked continually with the MDR Deutsches Fehrnsehballet in Berlin. After years of working as a classical ballerina Julieta transitioned into musical theater. She has worked all over Europe in shows like Disney's Aida and The beauty and the Beast, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, Miami Nights, Der Schuh des Manitu in Theater des Westens, Berlin, and Ich war noch niemals in New York at the Apollo Theater in Stuttgart and Metronom Theater Oberhausen.

 

Julieta is currently part of the ensemble - Cover "Mama Morton" in "CHICAGO" the musical at the Palladium Theater Stuttgart.
